Nikon Laser Forestry Pro

The Forestry Pro is an advanced model of the Forestry 550 Laser Rangefinder. This widely used and award winning laser rangefinder which meets the specifications of the forestry industry is now equipped with a three point measurement option that meets market requirements. This new feature allows the user to get information about the tree height even if the bottom or top of the tree is covered by branches or bushes preventing the use of a common separate measurement where the laser beam must hit both ends of the tree.

The Meter uses a high quality monocular with a magnification of 6x and multiple anti reflection layers for clear images. The construction of High-eyepoint eyepieces allows easy observation even when using glasses. The device allows you to specify the distance of the various targets while holding down the button for up to 20 seconds. The meter is watertight (up to a depth of 1m for 10 minutes) but is not intended for underwater use. The battery compartment is waterproof.

Nikon’s beginnings date back to 1917 in Japan. At first, the company mainly produced lenses - telescopes, binoculars, microscopes and other small, optical equipment. Soon the company expanded its portfolio, producing photographic lenses under the Nikkor brand.

In the field of cameras, particularly among professionals, Nikon quickly gained a reputation as a top manufacturer, which continues today. Its cameras were even included in the equipment of American spacecraft. Nikon designed and produced the legendary Nikon SP 1957, regarded by many as the best camera of all time.
