The new lightweight and compact PXW- Z150 camcorder brings 4K shooting to the hands of the single-operator. Its ergonomic design makes recording easy and comfortable. The PXW- Z150 uses 1.0-inch type stacked CMOS image sensor capable of 4K resolution (4096 x 2160). Full pixel read-out helps to realise the full potential of the big 1.0 type sensor - there’s no need for pixel binning or line skipping which can result in a moiré effect.
The 1.0-inch type stacked CMOS image sensor delivers a 2x increase in read-out speed compared to a conventional 1.0 sensor for stunning 120fps slow motion in Full HD and spectacular 4K recording. The sensor was developed specifically for professionals so you can look forward to high-quality shots even in difficult conditions.
Shoot documentaries, films, or commercials with this professional camera. The UHD (3840 × 2160) can be recorded at speeds of up to 30 fps. The camcorder is compatible with SD/SDHC/SDXC that can be placed in each of the two card slots. The PXW- Z150 can be used in the same way as conventional professional handy-type cameras. The content can be recorded by a minimal number of staff by using viewfinder or 3.5" display.
The Wi-Fi allows for wireless transmission of videos to smart devices, social networks or the cloud. Focus, zoom, aperture settings and ‘record start/stop’ can be remote controlled using the browser function of a smartphone or tablet. You can also use the NFC for wireless connection. The High Frame Rate continuous recording in Full HD quality delivers beautiful 5x slow motion. Stunning 4K picture performance is supported with 4K XAVC Long GOP at 100Mbpsh.
The camera is equipped with a lens resistant to dust and moisture offering a 12x optical zoom.
