Sony’s premium RX10 II camera comes equipped with a new component image sensor, which is the first memory-attached 1.0-type stacked CMOS image sensor in the world. It lets you capture up to 40x super slow motion videos and record video in 4K resolution. The professional XAVC S codec supports high-quality capture with stunning clarity and finest details.
With the camera’s extremely high-frame-rate (HFR) movie recording of up to 960 fps, you can faithfully capture even the fastest scenes and then view them in the fascinating slow-motion mode. Meanwhile, its extremely fast 1/32000 shutter speed can seamlessly capture even the most dynamic scenes without blurring and you can shoot in very bright conditions or with out of focus background.
The powerful ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T with a constant maximum aperture of F2.8 throughout the entire zoom range (24-200 mm) guarantees perfect results with every frame. And thanks to optimised effective matching between the lens and its controller, the camera achieves faster response of up to 0.09 s.
The camera includes traditional control such as a manually operated aperture ring and advanced multi-interface shoe. The cleverly designed magnesium alloy body is resistant to dust and moisture. The electronic OLED Tru-Finder with a 2.3 Mpx resolution and clear and bright image provides perfect preview. Alternatively, you can use the camera's 3" LCD tilting display to facilitate shooting from unusual positions.
Thanks to WiFi and NFC support and practical PlayMemories Mobile app (downloadable), you can easily transfer your photos and videos to your Android smartphone or tablet. The only thing you have to do is to touch the camera. With one touch you can also enable Smart Remote Embedded and control the camera from your mobile device.
