Samyang 10mm F2.8 Sony

The ultra-wide Samyang lens with manual focus is designed for APS-C camera cameras. Due to its low distortion and a wide angle of 109.5°, it is mainly used by photographers shooting wide-angles such as landscapes or architectural scenes. The lens brightness is F2.8 and it promises fine, bright and vibrant images even in low light.

Key features

  • Nano Coating System Technology
  • Wide angle 109.5° with low distortion
  • Lens F2.8
  • Aspheric (AS) and low scatter (ED)
  • Designed for SLR with APS-C sensor
  • 6-plate diaphragm
  • Lens length 105.6mm, weight 585g

Live and clear pictures

The lens design consists of 14 lenses in 10 groups, including aspherical members (AS) and one low-dispersion ED member. AS lenses guarantee high quality and excellent contrast. The minimum focal length is 0.24m. For the first time, the Nano Coating System (NCS) has been used on the Samyang lens, further reducing the appearance of glare and spots while maintaining bright and fresh colours than previous Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) technology. This is why the Samyang lens ranks among the best wide-angle lenses on the market.
