Samsung has introduced a new line of powerful SSD drives, which boast excellent performance and combines the best components. 850 EVO series has been specially designed for ultra-thin notebooks and therefore has a very low weight, while maintaining high data transmission rate and number of safety features, such as dynamic protection against overheating or AES encryption.
Disk offers fast startup of the operating system, quick access to files, the ability to work with compressed and uncompressed files without sacrificing speed or need support demanding multitasking. Disk is applied across a range of devices in a double disc notebooks, motherboards with mSATA SSD slot, slim servers or tablet.
The main advantage of SSD drives is their low power consumption while maintaining high performance. They also have very low access times, because there is a constant moving disk heads. His popularity SSDs earned thanks to considerable reliability, safety and crashworthiness.
Samsung mSATA SSD 850 EVO 250 GB used to connect high-speed interface mSATA III. It achieves read speeds up to 540 MB / write up to 520 MB / s. Disks 850 series EVO are produced in capacities of 120, 250, 500 and whopping 1,000 gigabytes (1TB).
What, however, this series differs from earlier? After 850 Pro, 850 Evo is the second SSD from Samsung, which uses 3D Vertical Flash memory cells. Traditional 2D planar NAND flash memory cells - to SSD storage unit - is located on the surface of the silicon wafer. This is normal for most SSD market. Evo S 850, flash memory cells are arranged in up to 32 layers, which enables significantly more cells in the same number of bits. This greatly increases the density of memory cells, which among other things means more storage space at a lower cost.
Creating a better world – the immodest vision which has driven Samsung since its inception in 1938. The courage to invest in the development of new technologies is typical for the company, as evidenced by a series of visionary solutions. Currently, Samsung is the largest group of companies in South Korea and the third largest worldwide conglomerate by revenue.
Samsung consumers associate the brand with high-quality consumer electronics. It is known for its Galaxy series, one of the best and most sought after mobile phones in its class. One must also mention Samsung TVs, where the company has long been at the cutting edge in technology and quality. The competence of the company is much broader. It is active in machinery and heavy industry, chemicals, construction, retail, and financial services.
