The latest generation of Lumix will delight even the fussiest photographers and video snobs. The new LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMILUX achieves exceptional luminosity. The MOS sensor on top of the camera brings more light through the lens than you'd ever expect from a lens with triple zoom. You can now shoot sharper images with shorter exposure times, but also have much better conditions for quality pictures in low-light conditions. The camera contains a respectable chip size of 1" in order to capture an extraordinary amount of detail and crisp texture. The greatly enhanced signal to noise ratio means cleaner images, even at higher sensitivities.
LUMIX LX15 shoots and records in an impressive 4K resolution, ie 3840 × 2160 pixels. This results in 4 times the normal resolution of Full HD, so you can be sure that everything you encounter in front of the lens will be captured with crystal clear definition. 4K resolution applies even when shooting pictures. PHOTO 4K mode can be accessed at any time from the video and the frame can be saved as a separate image with a resolution of 8 megapixels. At a speed of 30 frames per second you may select still images from your video.
When the special moment for a photo appears, you cannot spend your time pushing buttons and searching through menus. Therefore generations of proven operation negate this fumbling with rings around the lens and upper selectors. The rings are great for immediate changing the aperture or manual focus, after which you can highlight any part of the image blurred on the background, even at the edge of the image. The LUMIX LX15 helps you express your photographic fantasies without any complicated settings.
Unique feature Post Focus allows you to select a suitable place to focus on in the finished images. Just use your finger to select the place you want to focus on. The touch of your finger can completely change the atmosphere of the scene. Another new feature is Focus Stacking. This feature allows you to focus on multiple different objects within the image. When you are satisfied with your photo, you get an impressive and personalized sharpness even in the most complex image. The LUMIX LX15 gives you the power to pull what you want out of your photos.
