Nikon D5300

The Nikon D5300 is a more advanced successor to the five-thousand-inch single-lens mirror series designed for demanding creative users who can take advantage of all the options offered. The D5300 boasts enormously enhanced ISO resolution (up to 12,800), higher speed EXPEED 4, 39-point AF autofocus, and 2016-pixel RGB exposure sensor for its predecessors. It's made to capture imaginative images as well as movies which the other camera just can not match. The basis of all is a DX CMOS image sensor with 24 million pixels promising vibrant images with distinctive colors, low noise levels and subtle tonal gradations. The high dynamic range of the HDR offers highly detailed, high-contrast images by combining two images taken at once. The built-in dual dust reduction system with the image sensor cleaning unit and the airflow control system in the mirror box will help with the machine maintenance.

For composing pictures, the user will surely appreciate the three-inch swivel display with an electronic viewfinder. Scene Auto Selection selects the most suitable setting for the current scene. There are also several shooting modes for face detection. Continuous shooting captures fast-moving actions up to 5 fps. In addition to common photos, it is also possible to capture Full HD video at 30 fps. You can apply a variety of effects and enhancements to your photos and videos. Demanding users will also be happy to support professional RAW graphics. SDHC / SDXC memory cards are used as recording media. Power is provided by the supplied Li-Ion battery. The D5300 is already equipped with a WiFi and GPS module to record the position when shooting. The already rich camera capabilities can be enhanced by connecting other accessories such as different lightning, microphones, or remote control.

Only the camera itself and common accessories are included. You need to purchase a lens for commissioning.

Nikon’s beginnings date back to 1917 in Japan. At first, the company mainly produced lenses - telescopes, binoculars, microscopes and other small, optical equipment. Soon the company expanded its portfolio, producing photographic lenses under the Nikkor brand.

In the field of cameras, particularly among professionals, Nikon quickly gained a reputation as a top manufacturer, which continues today. Its cameras were even included in the equipment of American spacecraft. Nikon designed and produced the legendary Nikon SP 1957, regarded by many as the best camera of all time.

Advance: 24mpx sensor definitely needs better optics, lens 18-55 is downright inadequate minimum is 18-105, 18-140 better then. In this combination, it is really overpriced low entry level. Far better combination of price-performance ratio is D5200 + 18-105.
no OLPF filter !!! 39 focus points clearly Continuous (5sn / s) wifi (..ale again eats flashlight) performance / price ratio (it's still entry level) control dial on the right hand weak flashlight
