A professional stackable switch for growing businesses that require reliable switches for their corporate networks. The NETGEAR ProSAFE Gigabit Stackable Smart Managed Switches offer easy management, scalability, reliability, flexibility, and excellent performance. It has two dedicated high-speed stacking ports, each with a bandwidth of 20 Gb/s. Starting with a single switch, the stack can grow to six switches, either mixed or paired with other models in the same stack. Stacking cables maintain high-speed connectivity throughout the whole stack.
It provides maximum throughput in SMB networks processing large and complex, such as data replication, backup, virtualisation, or high-volume transaction processing. In addition to the 48 Gigabit connectors the switch is equipped with four SFP ports + 10GE ports for stacking or server uplink. The device has full IPv6 support, comprehensive security, and advanced multicast management.
QoS and robust security features, such as 802.1x authentication and ACL filtering to permit or deny operation based on the MAC address (physical address). Individual switches can be managed through a simple browser-based graphical user interface, which can be used to configure network monitoring and troubleshooting. The series of switches can also be managed through SNMP software, allowing you to collect and track data, manage devices, and apply critical controls and IT policies.
Autovoice VLAN features help the switches to reduce the complexity of VoIP deployment, so companies can easily implement and manage VoIP systems in their network.
