Lenovo ThinkServer dual-processor server TD350 provides outstanding performance and equipment in a compact design the tower.
The dual-processor Lenovo ThinkServer TD350 provides outstanding performance and hardware equipment in a compact tower design. Its energy-efficient platform supports more cores, memory, and data capacity in a scalable tower, which is easy to operate and manage. Compared to the previous generation it also comes with more computing power per watt, thanks to the latest Intel Xeon processors with Haswell architecture. This reduces costs while maintaining speed and availability, making the server ideal for developed businesses and their demanding applications.
The server is powered by a hexa-core Haswell-EN Intel Xeon E5-2603 v3 processor. Its advanced architecture means more power at the same clock speed and optimised power consumption. The processor is backed by advanced 8 DDR4 RAM, which can be expanded with optional RDIMM memory modules. With 16 available slots, the total RAM capacity can reach 256 GB! The motherboard is equipped with a TPM encryption chip. Network connection is handled by a gigabit network card with three connectors. The server also features advanced ThinkServer System Manager for remote management.
The TD350 has hot-swap functionality, which allows you to swap drives without having to power down the system. The server can be expanded to up to 8 SAS/SATA drives in 2.5" format. The disks can be configured in secure RAID 0/1/10 arrays. The components are powered by a highly efficient hot-swap 750 W power supply unit.
Lenovo is the world's largest computer maker, founded in 1984. Its original name was Legend. Later it was renamed to Legend Novo ("New Legend"), abbreviated Lenovo. In 2005 it took over IBM's computer division, which was among the largest computer makers in the world. It is similarly ambitious in the field of mobile phones, where it would like to surpass Apple and Samsung. As far as this goal goes, they acquired Motorola’s mobile division in January 2014 and have been ramping up production since.
The company also produces tablets, monitors, televisions, and storage solutions. Overall, they are known for delivering quality products at reasonable prices.
