The Lenovo X3650 M5 is a modern two-socket 2U rack server with high performance, designed for maximum reliability, energy efficiency, flexibility, and easy expandability. With up to twenty cores per system, its two Intel Xeon processors offer very solid performance. It also supports hot-swap capability that allows you to swap drives with the system still running, which is indispensable in the corporate sector. Drives can be grouped into software or hardware RAID arrays and storage capability can be expanded to up to 16 SAS/SATA 2.5" hard drives. There are also PCI Express expansion slots and integrated Gigabit Ethernet ports. The components are powered by a redundant hot-swap power supply.
The server has a modern quad-core Intel Xeon E5-2620 v3 processor. Its advanced architecture offers higher performance per megahertz and a better performance-per-watt ratio. Intel Turbo Boost 2 enables the processor to raise the clock speed of individual cores to easily handle even peak load. Advanced design and manufacturing optimisations guarantee great operating parameters. Its 8 GB DDR4 RAM supports ECC error correction and can be expanded with additional memory modules.
Lenovo is the world's largest computer maker, founded in 1984. Its original name was Legend. Later it was renamed to Legend Novo ("New Legend"), abbreviated Lenovo. In 2005 it took over IBM's computer division, which was among the largest computer makers in the world. It is similarly ambitious in the field of mobile phones, where it would like to surpass Apple and Samsung. As far as this goal goes, they acquired Motorola’s mobile division in January 2014 and have been ramping up production since.
The company also produces tablets, monitors, televisions, and storage solutions. Overall, they are known for delivering quality products at reasonable prices.
