Powerful and reliable server memory type DDR3 module designed for performance systems, servers and multiprocessor computers. This memory is primarily intended primarily to performance workstations Lenovo E31, S30, C30 and D30. It is tested for the most demanding applications, making it ideal for critical applications.
Technology ECC checking transparently and in real time, data integrity stored in memory. It is able to detect and correct an error in a single bit error and detect two bits. Some memory controllers can in cooperation with ECC memory repair the errors of greater magnitude. Most server board requires ECC memory support.
Memory has two separately addressable area (Memory rank) with bus width 72 bits (64 bits of data and 8-bit ECC code). Most of server chipsets has limited memory rank or directly specified memory configuration for each slot, so consider when buying a watch that figure with respect to future upgrades - if you reach the full rank of memory on the motherboard, you can not add another module even if some remained free memory slots.
Memory Modules s organizations chips "x8" are affordable, but do not support advanced server technologies such as multiple-bit error correction, Chipkill, memory scrubbing or Intel Single Device DataCorrection (SDDC), so they are ideal for the "entry-level" servers.

Note: in one PC can not mix ECC and non-ECC RDIMM memory with UDIMM!!
Lenovo is the world's largest computer maker, founded in 1984. Its original name was Legend. Later it was renamed to Legend Novo ("New Legend"), abbreviated Lenovo. In 2005 it took over IBM's computer division, which was among the largest computer makers in the world. It is similarly ambitious in the field of mobile phones, where it would like to surpass Apple and Samsung. As far as this goal goes, they acquired Motorola’s mobile division in January 2014 and have been ramping up production since.
The company also produces tablets, monitors, televisions, and storage solutions. Overall, they are known for delivering quality products at reasonable prices.
