The HPE 1820 24G PoE+ is a managed Gigabit switch without the need for an initial configuration, and can be used immediately after unpacking and connecting cables. Customisable features of the HPE 1820 24G PoE+ include VLAN, Link aggregation trunking, Spanning Tree and IGMP Snooping. It also supports Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP) for faster network recovery and DSCP QoS policy to prioritise time-sensitive packets such as VoIP and IPTV. It saves energy through Energy Efficient Ethernet (IEEE), shutting down unused ports, or running PoE ports.
