The HP EliteBook 850 G2 is a high-performance mobile station designed for professional work in graphic design software. Its heart is a quad-core Intel Core i7 4710MQ Haswell processor supporting Turbo Boost 2, which allows for up to 3.5 GHz. The professional 1GB NVIDIA Quadro K610 graphics card handles any graphically demanding task. The 15.6" Full HD display with Anti-glare technology ensures excellent image quality and prevents eye strain. The HP EliteBook 850 G2 features a 500GB HDD providing enough storage space for all your data. The notebook comes equipped with enhanced security features, such as a fingerprint reader, Smart card reader or TPM.
HP notebooks are rigorously tested for 115,000 hours to ensure maximum reliability — they are ISV certified. The HP EliteBook 850 G2's three-cell battery provides an extended battery life. Besides the obligatory USB (1x USB 2.0, 3x USB 3.0), VGA and DisplayPort port, it also features a docking connector, a Thunderbolt port, an Express Card reader and a second battery connector. The backlit keyboard allows for comfortable typing even in low light conditions.
The HP EliteBook 850 G2 comes equipped with a pre-installed version of Microsoft Windows 7 Professional with an easy upgrade to Windows 10 Pro.
Hewlett-Packard was founded in the difficult times of the Great Depression. The founders were a pair of friends whose name the company still proudly bears. They started their business in an unobtrusive garage near the city of Palo Alto. It is now a national monument. HP’s success lay not in copying existing products, but in the ability and courage to come up with something new.
The first commercial triumph was an oscillator that surpassed all competition in quality, yet sold at a quarter of the price. In 1968, HP released their first desktop computer - a desktop calculator. The company currently manufactures products primarily related to computer technology - computers and laptops, printers, scanners, digital cameras, servers, and last but not least, calculators.
