The main versions of Windows

  • Home Premium – for households, it includes Windows Media Center, Windows Aero, and support for two processors.
  • Professional – for small and medium-sized business owners and enthusiasts. Contains everything from Home Premium, but also an encryption support system, connection to remote desktop or a domain network, and much more.
  • Ultimate – contains everything from the other versions, but also includes advanced features such as BitLocker, AppLocker and DirectAccess. Individual versions are available in both 32 and 64-bit editions.

Microsoft Windows 7

Windows 7 came out in 2009 and compared with its predecessor, it offers higher speeds, greater slimness, a cleaner interface and greater stability. Even today, Windows 7 is still widely used and remains as popular as ever.

Microsoft Windows 8

With support for touch control, Windows 8 is suitable for desktop PCs and tablets. It introduced a revolutionary interface and increased speed, while the traditional start button vanished. It offers expanded support for multiple monitors and a Windows Store with many useful applications.

Windows 8.1 brings further improvements and optimisation. This version saw the return of the Start button and features resizable tiles. Windows 8.1, like Windows 7, is available in 32-bit and 64-bit versions.

Server OS

Server operating systems are designed for use in computer networks, which require maximum stability, reliability and technical support. Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and Microsoft Windows Server 2012 are popular choices.

Mobile Operating Systems


Android, developed under Google as an open source, is currently the most widely used operating system for mobile devices. It can be found in smartphones and tablets. Android includes a suite of applications from Google and access to the Google Play library, where you can find a wide range of games and other applications.


Developed by Applce, IOS is used in iPhones, iPads, iPods and Apple TVs. It fully supports touch controls and includes access to the App Store.

Windows Phone

Windows Phone is the successor to Windows Mobile. The user interface consists of tiles that link to different applications or functions.


The BlackBerry operating system is a proprietary system developed for Blackberry smartphones. It offers support for multitasking and business correspondence.
