Canon EF 8-15 mm f / 4L Fisheye USM lens is a universal type "fish eye". It offers a choice of celosnímkového or circular image. L is part of a series that provides excellent image quality for wide-angle shots. Series L represents the top professional Canon EF lenses, the best of precisely designed EF lenses. L-series lenses combine superior performance with superior control and high resistance to moisture and dust.
When using the camera sensor full-frame size (24 × 36 mm "full frame"), there is no need to purchase two special lenses because EF 8-15 mm f / 4L Fisheye USM offers the possibility of acquiring celosnímkových and circular images with an effect like " fish eye ". Photographers who use digital SLR with a smaller sensor, can capture footage celosnímkové with the effect of "fish eye". Capturing the entire scene has never been easier when you can use 180-degree diagonal field of view.
A ring USM (ultrasonic motor) uses ultrasonic frequency vibrations to drive extremely rapid and near-silent autofocus. The auto-focus speed also contributes high-speed CPU and optimized autofocus algorithm. There is a transition to a fully electronic manual focusing without turning off the AF mode.
The patented structure of the surface layers, designed by Canon for digital cameras, helps to minimize ghosting and flare caused by reflections inside the lens. Surface treatment and elimination of the causes prevents glare and helps to achieve sharp and clear image. The first and last lens in the lens is treated with fluorine coating, which in comparison with other surface treatments easier for cleaning the lens surface.
