Luxury diffraction lens member and image stabilizer for digital cameras by Canon. Optical Image Stabilizer has two modes that allow you to increase the exposure by up to three steps. Inside the lens is a diffractive element that corrects for chromatic aberration of the system. Focusing lens is due USM drive fast and quiet. This actuator uses a piezoelectric principle and consists of two closes tightly to each other rings, one of which acts as a stator and the other (driving the focussing mechanism) as the rotor.
