Beurer pulse oximeter PO 40 for non-invasive measurements of hemoglobin oxygen saturation of arterial blood vessels, display 6 displays, display brightness control, graphical display of pulse, neck strap, belt pouch, 2 AAA
A pulse oximeter is used for non-invasive measurements of hemoglobin oxygen saturation of arterial blood vessels (SpO2), heart rate (PRBP) and pulse modulation index (PMI). Measure important parameters for assessing respiratory function. The pulse oximeter used to measure the two light rays of different wavelengths incident on the finger inserted into the device.
The oximeter is suitable for use both in the private environment (at home and on the road), as well as in health care facilities. It is necessary especially for high-risk patients with heart disease, asthma, but also for athletes and healthy people, which move at high altitude (mountain climbers, skiers and sports fliers).
Sudden decrease in oxygen saturation, with accompanying symptoms or without them, must be addressed immediately with a doctor, it may even be life-threatening. In humans with low value oxygen saturation of hemoglobin is increasingly appearing the following symptoms: shortness of breath, increased heart rate, decreased performance jitters or sudden sweating.
Identified decreased oxygen saturation requires monitoring using pulse oximeter and monitoring by a physician. The low value of oxygen saturation of hemoglobin refers mainly to diseases and respiratory diseases, asthma, cardiac insufficiency, etc.
