I had a spare drive on my PC (what was the old C:\ drive) so I thought I would put Linux (Ubuntu) on that. I have a desktop PC previously connected wirelessly to the router in the hall using a Netgear wireless adapter. No go for Linux, I'm afraid, although somebody far more geeky than I am with a lot of time on their hands probably could get it to work. So I bought the ASUS USB-N13 from Alza because the blurb said it was OK for Linux. It arrived today and getting it going was a cinch. The documentation is pretty much non-existent but you don't really need any documentation. In Windows (7) I installed the utilities off the disk as per the instructions, disconnected the Netgear adapter and connected the ASUS. It automatically installed the drivers and then the connection window appeared as per the quick start guide leaflet. I selected my router, put in the WEP password and that was it. Now to Linux. I restarted the PC and selected the Ubuntu boot up route. A few minutes later, once Ubuntu had settled down, a message appeared saying that wireless networks were available so it had found the ASUS N13 OK. I hit the network icon, selected my router and entered the password. Bish-bosh and Ubuntu was connected to the internet. Signal strength is in the 76% - 80% range similar to the Netgear (couple of brick walls to get through) and Signal Quality is 100%. Not all wireless adapters work with Linux but this one certainly does.
Dead easy to set up. Inexpensive. None.

I have XP Pro. The adapter I did not work with the supplied software. "Connect" button it has broken the settings, so it was impossible to connect. After odistalování supplied software was no longer a problem to connect. It is strange that other users with this problem probably met.
It works seamlessly Speed Bundled software
