The ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR VI HERO is a motherboard designed for the new AMD Ryzen processors featuring full-fledged HyperThreading, which enables each core to process two computational threads simultaneously. The motherboard is equipped with an AM4 socket and Promontory X370 chipset. Aside from Ryzen, the motherboard is also compatible with APU Bristol Rigde with Excavator kernels and APU Raven Ridge with Zen. You can look forward to full overclocking support and rich hardware equipment with all the necessary connectors. The board of course includes a 3rd gen PCIe × 16 slot, two USB 3.1 Gen2 connectors boasting speeds up to 10 Gb/s and standard USB 2.0 connectors. Finally, there are four slots for DDR4 memory modules with a maximum capacity of 64 GB.
