Arduino is an open-source platform for easy design and development of programmable electronic devices. It is very suitable for rapid prototyping of toys, equipment and controls, and control applications without the need for a deeper understanding of the principles of electronics. Without soldering and using a single development environment and programming language to create, for example, a serious monitoring device with various sensors, or compose a remote-controlled robot.
Arduino Pro M0 (Zero) is a hitech electronic development board with Atmel microcontroller SAMD21G18 ARM Cortex-M0. It is a 32-bit extension platform Arduino UNO. 32-core ARM Cortex-M0 is a simple yet powerful chip useful in embedded applications where higher performance is required. It has an integrated EDBG (Embedded Debugger), which provides full support for debugging interface without requiring any additional hardware. The board contains 14 digital and 6 analogue inputs. Additionally, there is one 10-bit analog output DAC.
The advantage of the device is its simple connection to the computer and programming. Arduino Pro M0 (Zero) is equipped with a micro USB connector, and when connected to a PC is reported as a serial port. Custom programming is done in a simple environment Arduino IDE. The code itself is very clear and separates programmer from complex hardware configurations.
