The Dual-Core AMD A4 4000 processor is the new addition to the APU (Accelerated Processing Unit) AMD Fusion family. It is equipped with an innovative architecture connecting 2 x86 processor cores, a graphics core with support for Microsoft DirectX 11, DDR3 memory controller, and North Bridge technology with the PCI Express 2.0 interface on a single 32nm chip. Bring all this together and you get the Llano architecture that runs on less power while being much more powerful.
The AMD A4-4000 processor is very convenient especially for owners with older computers that have processors weaker than the AMD Athlon II X2 series or processors similar in size. A computer equipped with the special processor will be a universal machine for multimedia use, occasional gaming, internet surfing, and general office work. The processor is only compatible with motherboards that have the new FM2 socket.
*Backward compatibility with older sockets is not possible
