The Reference MultiSync NEC P801 is the flagship model in the new P Series range, its professional-grade construction contributing to 24/7 usage as well as an overall longer panel life.
And ultimately, it is the size and quality image of the 80” high-brightness display which makes it an excellent tool for capturing the attention of your visitors, either in shops, control rooms, or as a projector replacement in high brightness meeting rooms.
It is also possible to pre-configure a brand new display, even before its installation, via the innovative new Android App. The P series is also equipped with a built-in near field communication (NFC) chip, one of the features saving installation time and cost. It allows data to be read and written simply by holding an NFC capable device, such as a mobile phone, close to the display via intelligent wireless data transfer. The programmable Ambient Light Sensor, thermal protection and the optional Human Sensor feature further reduce power consumption and operating cost.
The matrix of the display features a FULL HD resolution, 1920x1080 pixels for a precisely detailed image.
The power efficient LED Backlight allows the P801 to reach typical brightness level of 500cd/m2
The panel is also equipped with an advance programmable Ambient Light Sensor adjusting the brightness intensity, reducing power consumption and keeping the brightness at eye-pleasing levels at all times.
The high contrast of the display delightfully emphasizes the difference between light and dark sequences. DICOM support for medical applications makes the P801 extremely suitable for radiograph imaging. On the other hand, the excellent 4ms response time comes in handy during lively presentations with rapid transitions.
In addition to the delivery of a visual feast, this high end model captivates and impresses even further with built-in stereo speakers operating on a power output of 2x10W. As such they are however insufficient to sound larger rooms, which is why the manufactures focused heavily on connectivity options. These include an Output for external speakers, Audio Output Terminal, two Analogue Audio Inputs in the form of 3,5mm jack connectors and one HDMI Input Terminal utilisable for simultaneous transfer of audio and video.
Similar to virtually any other modern day display device the P801 includes a digital display interface DisplayPort, though works just as well connected to a device equipped with a DVI-D or an analogue D-sub interface. All the more, the OPS Cable Free expansion upgrades the display power any time without the need for any external cables or devices.
